If Microsoft’s Fable 2 was an Xbox 360 exclusive,things are about to change for Fable 3 who we’re hearing may be available for PCs, too.
According to a box art officially released today, Fable 3 is coming out “only on Xbox 360 & Windows” — but as you’d expect, MSFT pulled out the artwork and denied to comment anything.
So I guess we need to wait until Fable 3 goes on sale, sometime in December, to know if we’ll actually get to play it on our Windows rigs, or not.
Meanwhile, all we can do is speculate. When it started selling in December 2008, Fable 2 had a box art saying “Only on Xbox 360″, but the stamp is different for Fable 3. Also, Microsoft is said to have advertised a job position for a Fable 3 network programmer who know a thing or two about “converting and maintaining network code of the Xbox 360 version of this game to the PC.”
Not sure about you chaps, but we can’t wait to install Fable 3 on PCs at the office and lose a night or two.
